About Me

I’m a multimedia journalist, blogger and music enthusiast who recently graduated from the University of Central Florida with bachelor degrees in journalism and political science. I have written and edited content for Paste magazine and Wakeboarding magazine’s print and online product. I’ve also held two editorial positions at the Central Florida Future, UCF’s student newspaper.

I spent the last semester of my academic career writing a weekly music column for the Central Florida Future, “The Minor Fall, the Major Lift,” in addition to freelancing for REAX Music magazine.

When I’m not writing or editing, I enjoy seeing bands live at The Social and Backbooth in downtown Orlando and learning covers on my Martin DCME acoustic guitar. I draw inspiration from reading and absorbing the work of Dave Eggers, Jonathan Safran Foer and Donald Miller. As Foer once wrote, I’d like to think “my life [is] music that’s always getting louder.”
